UPDATE: Closure of Holt Road At US 60 Intersection in PADUCAH DELAYED TO WEDNESDAY NIGHT

The start of this planned closure of Holt Road near the US 60 intersection in Paducah has been moved to WEDNESDAY Night, May 1, 2019.

It is expected to be in place for about 4 days, weather permitting.

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of Holt Road near the intersection with US 60 in the mall area at Paducah starting Monday night, April 29, 2019.

Holt Road is expected to close between the Wal Mart frontage road and US 60 starting at approximately 7:30 p.m., CDT, on Monday, April 29th.

The contractor will be removing concrete pavement and replacing it with several lifts of asphalt. Weather permitting, Holt Road is expected to reopen at this site sometime Friday evening, May 3rd.

Customers will be able to access businesses near the intersection during the work via the frontage road and other access points.

This work is related to the construction of a Double Crossover Diamond along US 60 at the I-24 Paducah Exit 4 Interchange and additional improvements to US 60 between Holt Road and Coleman Road.
