Max Lavine Harrison, 89 of Benton, Kentucky died on Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.
Born Monday, February 25, 1929 in Symsonia, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Oscar “Pete” Thompson and the late Pauline McManus Kincannon. She was the wife of the late Homer Davis Harrison, Jr. She was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughters, Ann Bradley of Benton, KY, Jane Jones and husband Darrell of Mayfield, KY; sister, LaDon Cobb of Smithland, KY; seven grandchildren, Kevin Jones, Brandy Batts, Khouri Haack, Chris Bradley, Dwayne Bradley, Tom Bradley, Sara Bradley; and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, step-father, Louis F. Kincannon, brother, William Vincent Thompson, and son-in-law, David Bradley.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home located at 211 West 5th Benton, Kentucky 42025 with the Rev. Joe Daryl Thorn officiating.
Interment will be in Middle Fork Cemetery, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the service time of 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Collier Funeral Home.
