DORIS STOKES, 72, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 10:57AM Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Lourdes Hospital.
She was a member of Altona Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Loretta Stokes of Paducah, KY; Cindy Edwards of Hardin, KY and Linda Taylor of Dyersburg, TN; two sons, Dwain Stokes of Benton, KY and James Stokes of Paducah, KY; six grandchildren, Amy Stokes, Anissa Lindsey, Brittany Edwards, Blake Edwards, Dallas Johnson and Jeffrey Stokes; three great grandchildren, Ricky Riley, Kylieha Frost and Jackson Lindsey; one sister, Delores Seay of Paducah, KY and one brother, Raymond Neal of Gilbertsville, KY .
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lee Stokes and six brothers, James Neal, Kenny Neal, Robert Neal, Roy Thomas Neal, Ralph Neal and Leory Neal. Her parents were Raymond Neal and Lillian Bortick Neal.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Rice will officiate. Burial will follow at the Calvert City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 8:00PM on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
