Benton, KY — May 2, 2025 — The Miracle League of Western Kentucky is proud to announce Opening Day for the 2025 season will be held on Saturday, May 10th at 9:15 AM at the CFSB Field of Dreams at Mike Miller Park in Draffenville.
This year marks a historic milestone for the league, with a record number of 68 athletes participating from 13 counties across 3 different states. The Miracle League continues to grow and bring inclusive, joyful baseball experiences to individuals of all abilities and backgrounds.
“We are beyond excited to kick off this season with more athletes than ever before,” said Britney Moss, Director of the Marshall County Parks Department and Miracle League of Western Kentucky. “The spirit, laughter, and determination our players bring to the field is what makes the Miracle League so special. This year is going to be one to remember.”
The league is still seeking volunteers to serve as ‘buddies’—individuals who assist and cheer on the athletes during games. Buddies are vital to the Miracle League experience and no prior experience is necessary. Community members age 14 and up are encouraged to get involved.
