Marshals go low to win Hopkins County Central Invitational

Saturday at Madisonville Country Club, the Marshals took the top spot in the Hopkins County Central Storm Invitational with a team score of 291. They were led by Trey Wall with a 1-under round of 70 to finish in second place in individual standings.

Behind Wall’s low round, Camdyn McLeod shot 72, David Jack Morris 74, Ryan Stokes 75 and Gunner Hoover 77.

Last Thursday in a match at Calvert City Country Club against St. Mary, the Marshals won 144 to 151. Wall led the way in the 9-hole match with 34 followed by McLeod 36, Morris 36, Stokes 38, Hayden Powell 40 and Hoover 44. Rocco Zakutney led St. Mary with a round of 35.

The Marshals will be back in Calvert City on Tuesday when they host McCracken County.
