After their 2-1 start to the season, the tennis team played a match at Murray on March 22nd, the boys team shut out Murray out 9-0 while the girls lost a close one 5-4.
All six singles matches won by the boys’ team came from Kiefer Court (8-1), Jameson Wells (8-1), Kian Court (8-2), Rush Robinson (8-1), Alex Dinas (8-1) and Elston Evans (8-0). Doubles wins were Court/Court (8-1), Wells/Robinson (8-4) and Dinas Evans (8-6).
Singles wins for the girls against Murray came from JC Wells (8-4), Courtney Phillips (8-6) and Laney Evans (8-2). Wells and Phillips won their doubles match 8-4.
On March 29th against Ballard Memorial the boys’ team picked up their fourth win of the season and the girls their third. JC Wells, Courtney Phillips, Kiefer Court and Kian Court won both their singles and double matches. Rush Robinson won his singles match along with a doubles win with partner Jameson Wells.
Both teams won their match against Murray on Monday, the girls 5-4 and boys 6-3 (full results below). Tuesday, the girls were back in the win column against Ballard Memorial and the boys team lost.
