Paula Chambliss Miller, 72, of Benton, KY passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 8:53 p.m. at Marshall County Hospital.
Paula was born in Evansville, IN on October 8, 1947 to the late David Paul Chambliss and Virginia Lewis Chambliss. Paula worked as a clerical worker for the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce and a was member of First Baptist Church in Benton, KY. She was a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana and a Troop Leader for Girls Scouts Troop #887. Paula was also an Avid UK Fan and loved watching basketball and hockey games. She enjoyed spending time in nature doing things she loved like gardening or bird watching.
She is survived by three daughters, Katrina Thomas of Carmi, IL, Aleicia Walker and Jeff of Benton, KY, and Marie Alexander and Terry of Benton, KY; one son, Joseph Scott Lynch and Laurie of West Virginia; one sister, Gina Perkins; one brother, Stan Chambliss and Kathy; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Rosie Capps; one grandson, Holden Oliver Thomas; and her parents.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr with Bro. Mark Doom officiating and burial to follow at Benton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr.
