The Giving Bowl Project…Fill a Bowl, Feed a Soul…is coming to the Lakeland Event Center in Calvert City on Saturday, February 22 from 11 am to 1 pm. Joining WCBL’s Cindy Riley on Coffee Call recently was Chelsy Solomon. Lakeland Event Center and the Funky Monkey Pottery Company are partnering for the second annual Giving Bowls. Chelsy says you can get tickets in a advance for $10 or at the door for $15. You get to choose a bowl and eat all the food you want. There will also be a silent auction and the proceeds from the day’s events goes to th Marshall County Caring Needline as well as the Snack Pack Program for Marshall County Schools.
