Deputies make DUI arrests, respond to 13 burglary reports

 

Marshall County Sheriff’s report, Oct. 16, 2017:

Deputy Josh Anderson was dispatched on Saturday, Oct. 14 to Old Calvert City Road in reference to an individual that was observed to be passed out in the driver’s seat of a vehicle. Upon arrival, Anderson had to ask several times before the subject woke up. A field sobriety test indicated factors present for being under the influence. The subject did not know where he was at the time. Joshua R. Hannan, 34, of Paducah, was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence.

Deputy Chris Glenn on Saturday, Oct. 14 observed a vehicle weaving on U.S. Highway 68 E in Draffenville. Upon contact with the subject, Glenn observed a very strong odor of alcohol. The field sobriety test was given and there were indications of being under the influence present. Sunny S. Osborne, 49, of Ledbetter, was placed under arrest and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence.

For the week of Oct. 9-16, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office responded to 318 calls for service, including the following:

For the week of Oct.9-13, the Marshall County Court Security attended one court session, moved seven inmates to and from court, checked 1,564 people into the building, transported one mental transport out of county and conducted 43 vehicle inspections.
