The Kentucky Lake Chamber of Commerce in Marshall County on Thursday hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand opening of Sweet Cece’s, a new chamber member and business now open in Benton.

Sweet CeCe’s brings frozen yogurt, sweet treats, toppings and ice cream to Benton. It takes self-serve yogurt to a whole new level, with the desire to create an atmosphere of fun and excitement, and the feel of being in a true “Willy Wonka”-type experience.

Sweet Cece’s got its start in 2009 in Nashville, Tenn.; the Benton location has become one of 18 stores and is only the second store in Kentucky. Bill and Chasity Harrod and their team are there to create a special memory for every customer.

With the opportunity to be as healthy as you want, or take part in creating an extra special treat that tickles your taste buds, Sweet CeCe’s has it all: frozen yogurt, cookies, ice cream, sorbet, countless toppings and fresh fruit cut daily.

Sweet Cece’s mission is to create an atmosphere of yum and fun that will make your day shine brighter. Sweet Cece’s looks forward to supporting the area community. Whether it’s cheering for the local sports teams, hosting a rebate night fundraiser or providing a meeting place after church, the owners look forward to being involved in Benton.

Sweet CeCe’s is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday. The business is located at 406 B West 5th Street in Benton and can be contacted by calling 270-493-6048.
