PADUCAH – The Marshall County Swim Team has been in competition in their last two meet at the Paducah Athletic Club. November 28th they competed in the McCracken Mustangs Sprint Invitational six-team meet followed by the Paducah Tilghman five-team meet on December 5th. The team will travel to Madisonville YMCA for a meet on Tuesday and Saturday they will swim in the Murray Invitational at the MSU Wellness Center.
The Marshall County team took 3rd in combined scoring at the McCracken Mustangs Sprint Invitational which was won by McCracken County. Top finishes from the meet came from Maidie Siress (8th 100 freestyle), Jackson Brown (4th 100 freestyle, 2nd 100 IM), Chelsea Erbacher (8th 50 backstroke), Ethan Delaney (2nd 50 backstroke), Mary Grace Thompson (5th 50 backstroke), Coleton Jones (7th 50 backstroke, 5th 50 butterfly), Clara Bradley (3rd 50 butterfly, 3rd 50 freestyle), Sofia Bayer (6th 100 IM) and Isaac Bayer (1st 50 freestyle). The girl’s 200 medley relay took 3rd, boy’s 200 medley relay 2nd, girl’s freestyle relay 4th, boy’s 3rd.
On December 5th at the Paducah Tilghman Meet, Marshall County finished second by just one point (157) behind first place McCracken County (158). Full Marshall County results below.
