Campgrounds at Kentucky’s state parks open next month, and the parks are offering two nights for the price of one on weeknights all month long.
There are 31 state park campgrounds. They all open April 1. The state Parks Department says many campgrounds are near lakes and streams, and most campsites have water and electric hookups, a fire ring and a picnic table.
Two nights for the price of one will also be offered during Camper Appreciation Weekend, which is being held this year from April 29 to May 1.
The Kentucky Horse Park isn’t included in the offer.
