Wanda “Faye” Cossey, 75 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.
Faye was born in Benton, Kentucky on February 12, 1949 in Benton, Kentucky to the late Wilson Thompson and Frances Clark Thompson. She attended New Zion Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Brad Burkeen of Benton and Dusty Burkeen (Karen) of Murray; sister, June Parker of Benton; seven grandchildren, Paige Burkeen, Bradley Burkeen, Michaela Burkeen, Mackenzie Burkeen, Tiffany Miller (Justin), Toree McMain (Matt), Tristian Holland; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Donald “Nelson” Cossey and her parents.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Benton Cemetery, Benton, KY.
There will be no public visitation.
