Julie Faye Royster, 61, of Fairdealing, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, Kentucky, following an extended illness.
Julie was born in Benton, Kentucky, on June 17, 1964. She was the daughter of Danny Lovett and Judy Rose Lovett.  She earned her master’s degree in nursing from Murray State University and was a Nurse Practitioner.  She was a member of the Olive Community Church.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Jim Royster; daughter, Megan Royster (Josh) of Grand Rivers; son, James Royster (Brittany) of Fairdealing; her parents, Danny & Judy Lovett; two sisters, Ginger Cook and Danna Semenic (Mike), all residents of the Olive community; mother-in-law, Phyllis Royster and seven grandchildren, Molly Royster, Jameson Royster, Dahlia Hinton, Scarlett Hinton, Oliver Hinton, Poppy Hinton and Frankie Royster.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jacob Royster; grandparents D.A. & Aline Lovett and Franklin & Hazel Rose; and father-in-law, James Royster.
A graveside service will be at 4:30 PM on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Horn Cemetery.
There will be no public visitation.
Collier Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
