Billie “Bill” Joe Rose, 86, of Benton, passed away Monday, April 20, 2026 at his home.
Bill was born in Benton on February 14, 1940 to William Louis Rose and Lorena Scillian Rose. He was a faithful member and Deacon of New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. Bill was employed at B.F. Goodrich/ Westlake for 62 years and was still working up until his passing.
He is survived by his son, Carl Rose.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Tutt Rose, and his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Collier Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Penick officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery.
The visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Collier Funeral Home.
