Marshals track and field opens indoor season with two school records

Marshall County men’s track and field team opened their 2025 indoor season on Saturday in Louisville at the MLK Weekend Invitational.

Two new indoor school records were set in the 55 meter dash by Isaac Hodges with a time of 6.79 and the 4 x 200 meter relay with a time of 1:32.85. Relay team members are Sam Morgan, Isaac Hodges, Isaac Reynolds and Cade Sorrells.

Six other “hall of fame” performances were recorded according to the program. In the 55 meters, Sam Morgan set the fourth best time and John Foley the fifth best time in that event. In the 200 meters, Sam Morgan ran the third best time, Isaac Hodges fourth best and Cade Sorrells fifth best in program history. Isaac Hodges also set the second best time in the 400 meters.

They will compete in Louisville again on February 8 in the Eastern Invitational.
