Louis Albert Mills, Jr. 76 of Paducah passed away at 2:38 PM Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Mr. Mills was born on December 11, 1946 in Mayfield, KY to Lewis Albert & Dorothy Jean Bowden Mills. He was a retired operator from TVA, served in Vietnam while a member of the United States Marine Corps, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars #1191 and served in the IBEW local #816.
He is survived by one daughter, Brandy Akers of Chattanooga, TN; one son, Trey Mills of Murfreesboro, TN; two brothers, Marty Mills of Mayfield, KY & Donald Mills of Mayfield, KY; four sisters, Ruthie Barker of Benton, KY, Jeanne Dykes of Mayfield, KY, Phyllis Kartmann of Chattanooga, TN & Marie Miller of St. Petersburg, IN; four grandchildren, Nathan McCoin, Aryanna Mills, Jacob Mills & Cheyenne Oliver and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Tera Youngblood Mills and his daughter, Sarah Jo Mills-Chaney.
Private burial will be at a later date. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
