Pink Night for Breast Cancer Awareness is Friday night, October 6th in Calvert City. Blair Travis with the City of Calvert joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. Travis says the event begins at 5:30 at the Calvert City Civic Center. The food trucks will be there along with a silent auction and then a Pink Walk on 5th Avenue. Then Saturday, October 7th, it’s the Calvert City River Folk Festival from 10 am to 6 pm with live bluegrass music, over 60 arts & crafts vendors, food trucks, mums & pumpkins, a fun dog show off, magic show, inflatables and more.
