Mr. Joel Dan Lamb, 82, of Howell, MI, formerly of Murray, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at his home.
Mr. Lamb was born on December 2, 1940 in Calloway County to the late Archie Earl Lamb and Novella Wilkerson Lamb. He served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of First Baptist Church in Mayfield, KY. Joel retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years at the Wixon Assembly Plant and he was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Barbara Adkins Lamb; two brothers, Charles and Eugene Lamb; two sisters, Willie Mae Winchester, Irene Carter.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Ryan Lamb and wife, Michele, of Howell, MI; a brother, William Lamb of Smyrna, TN; grandchildren, Rose Whiting and Michael Lamb, both of Howell, MI. In addition, he leaves behind three great grandchildren, Gavin and Connor Whiting and Julian Lamb.
The graveside service with military honors for Mr. Joel Dan Lamb is set for 2:30 pm on Monday, September 18, 2023 at Coldwater Church of Christ Cemetery. Sammy Cunningham will officiate.
His family welcomes visitors from 12 -2 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
