
LYON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE MEDIA RELEASE
- On Sunday, September 3, 2023, around 8:30pm, Deputy David Carroll responded to a single vehicle collision on US 62 near Bent Tree Lane in Kuttawa. The investigation revealed a 2009 Lincoln MKX driven by Randy Harlan (66) of Central City was East on US 62 when a deer entered the roadway resulting in a collision. There were no injuries reported; however, the vehicle was not operable and had to be towed away.
- On Monday, September 4, 2023, around 9:30am, Chief Deputy Sam Adams responded to a two-vehicle collision on KY 810 South at the intersection of US 62 in Suwanee. The investigation revealed a 2016 Subaru, driven by Eric Leeds (24) of Newburgh, IN was North on KY 810 and approaching the stop sign at the intersection with US 62. A 2018 KIA driven by Tracy Townsend (50) of Slaughters was behind the Leeds vehicle when Townsend’s vehicle rear-ended the Leeds vehicle. No injuries were reported in the collision and both vehicles remained drivable.
- On Friday, September 8, 2023, around 5:20am, Chief Deputy Sam Adams responded to a burglary in progress complaint on KY 1097 in the Lamasco community. He located Kyle T. Robertson (55) of Eddyville who was intoxicated. He was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Robertson was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center. The investigation is continuing.
- On Friday, September 8, 2023, around 11:40pm, Sheriff Brent White served William L. Walker (54) of Eddyville with a Lyon Circuit Court Indictment Warrant charging him with Rape-1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment-2nd Degree, and Unlawful Transaction with a Minor-3rd Walker is lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
