On July 2, 2023, Cheyenne Goins age 22 of Calvert City KY, was arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear for court. Warrant was issued out of Marshall District Court. Original charge on case was operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
Ms. Goins was served a second bench warrant for failure to appear in Marshall District Court. Original charges on this case were public intoxication (drugs), prescription not in proper container, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia.
On June 30, 2023, Austin Bebber age 23 of Almo KY, was served a bench warrant issued out of Marshall Circuit Court for the charge of Contempt of Court. The original charges were fleeing or evading police in motor vehicle, fleeing evading police on foot, criminal mischief (3 courts), no operator’s license, failure to maintain insurance.
On 07/01/2023, Anthony English age 51 of Paducah KY, was served a warrant for failure to appear. Warrant was issued out of McCracken County district Court. Original charge was operating motor vehicle on suspended or revoked license.
On 07/01/2023, Joseph E. Moore age 32 of Fancy Farm KY, was served a bench warrant to revoke his bond. Warrant was issued out of Graves Circuit court. Original charges were for assault 4th, kidnapping (adult), strangulation 1st degree, criminal mischief, interfering with communications, terroristic threatening.
On 7/01/2023, Toby Benjamin age 58 of Water Valley KY, was served a bench warrant issued out of Graves Circuit court for Contempt of court for violating conditions of release. Original charge was criminal trespass 1st degree.
On 07/02/2023, Justin English age 43 of Paducah KY, was served an indictment warrant issued out of Trigg Circuit Court for the charge of strangulation 2nd degree, assault 4th degree, and failure to notify department of transportation of address change.
On 07/01/2023, Christopher Renner age 56 of Gilbertsville KY, was arrested and charged with operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol 1st offense.
On 07/03/2023 during a traffic safety check point a vehicle came to the safety check point and an odor of marijuana was observed in the vehicle. Marijuana was located in the vehicle. Operator of the vehicle, Attie Lax, age 19 of Murray KY, was charged with possession of alcoholic beverages in a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia. An occupant of the vehicle, Garrett McGrew, age 18 of Murray KY, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On 07/05/2023, during a traffic stop, Giovani Perez age 20 of Paducah KY, was charged with speeding 95mph in a 70 mph zone, failure of non-owner to maintain insurance 1st offense, failure to produce insurance, no operator’s license.
On 07/01/2023, during a traffic stop John Estes, age 24 of Benton KY, was found to be in possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On 06/30/2023, Ashley Spann age 34 of Benton KY was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of McCracken County for Contempt of court.
On 07/03/2023, April Trull age 34 of Hardin KY, was arrested on a bench warrant for the charge of probation violation. Warrant was issued out of Calloway County Circuit Court. Original charge was possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
Big thank you to the Kiwanis Club! They provided funding to purchase the eight additional metal detectors needed for each Patrol Unit.
The Republican Women’s Committee had purchased eight units last month for our Patrol Division. The Kiwanis Club stepped up to provide the additional eight so that each Patrol Deputy will now be equipped with a metal detector.
These units will aid greatly in searching individuals for weapons.
We appreciate the Kiwanis support in increasing the level of safety to our Deputies and the Community!
