News Release
On July 5, 2023 at approximately 2:00pm deputies conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 641
N in Murray. The passenger was found to have a parole violation warrant. He was also
found to have 6.3 grams of methamphetamine on his person. A search was conducted and
a bag containing items consistent with trafficking were located along with some drug
paraphernalia and pills.
The parole violation warrant was for absconding parole supervision and failing to
complete treatment for substance abuse after being convicted in Lyon County for
Trafficking a Controlled Substance 1st Deg, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine 2 or >grams)
and paroled on June 1, 2023.
He was arrested and lodged at the Calloway County Detention Center on the below listed
charges.
