Paducah Man Charged with Drug Trafficking

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Paducah man on drug trafficking offenses Tuesday afternoon following a traffic stop in Paducah.

On 05/23/2023 at 12:21 PM, detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle for traffic infractions on Wayne Sullivan Drive.

During the stop, detectives identified the driver of the vehicle as 39-year-old Luciano Lucatero. Lucatero didn’t have a driver’s license. Detectives conducted a search of the vehicle and located approximately 28 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine packaged for sale and a digital scale.

Lucatero was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

As the investigation progressed detectives obtained a search warrant for Lucatero’s residence located at 315 Hayes Avenue in Paducah. During the search warrant service detectives located approximately 18 pounds of Marijuana that was concealed in the trunk of a vehicle on the property and a loaded .380 caliber handgun.

The investigation is continuing.

Charges: Failure to signal, no operator’s license, trafficking in Methamphetamine, trafficking in Marijuana over 5lbs, and possession of drug paraphernalia
