The Farm to Fork Dinner will be held Saturday evening, September 24th at Marshall County High School. Ann Riley with Benton Partnership and a member of the Benton City Council joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. Riley said the food will be from area farmers when possible and prepared by the culinary students at the high school. Members of the FFA will also be helping that night. Riley said the main purpose of the dinner is to recognize local farmers. Awards include Farmer of the Year, Young Farmer of the Year and Agribusiness of the Year. Tickets are $40 each or $300 for a table of six. You can get tickets at Benton City Hall or by calling Riley at 270-703-0304.
