Two guests joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. Marshall County Parks Director Britney Hargrove has been in Knott County to assist with the cleanup following the flooding in Eastern Kentucky. She said the devastation is widespread, with sixteen deaths in the county and 150 bridges washed away. Look for a link on Marshall County Daily dot com on how you can donate to help out. Also joining us on Coffee Call was Elena Blevins the director of the Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau. She said a couple big events are coming up the weekend of August 26th & 27th. The Lone Star Rodeo will be back at HH Lovett Benton City Park and the Hot August Blues at Ken Lake State Park will be that same weekend. For more information on these events and more go to www.visitkylake.com.
