Arrest and foot chase in Fancy Farm Thursday night.

A complaint was received this evening about a suspicious person loitering around a parked car in Fancy Farm on the old St. Jerome school property.

Sheriff Jon Hayden responded and after arriving and identifying the individual as being wanted on arrest warrants, he attempted to place the individual under arrest. The suspect took off running east adjacent to Ky Hwy 80 near a cornfield. After about 150 yards, the suspect was caught and placed under arrest. A citizen witnessing the incident came and assisted the sheriff in getting the suspect handcuffed. (Thank you Mr. Ronnie Cook)

Arrested: Majors, James M. age 41 of Farmington.

Charges: Arrested in outstanding Graves County warrants, and Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree.

He was transported to an out of county jail facility.
