
Jennie was born and raised in Mayfield, KY and graduated from Mayfield High School in 1949. She travelled the world with her first husband, Carl Jones, and her sons while he was in the Air Force. They were stationed in Bangkok, Thailand and Frankfurt, Germany. When he retired, they settled in Deland, FL where she became a founding member of the Daisy Circle of the Garden Club of DeLand and a Pillar of Pride recipient. She was also an active member of the Arts Guild of DeLand. After Carl’s death she married Alan Patrick and continued to travel. Jennie and her sister, Linda Reese, travelled to Mexico and Australia.
Jennie is survived by her two sons, Steve Jones (Debbie) and Rick Jones (Lori), four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her step-son Michael Patrick (Donna), and two step-daughters Barbara Pullen (Michael) and Phyllis Strange (Carl), nine
grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Carl and Alan; one brother James Washam; on sister Linda Reese; and her parents, Cleland and Zettie Washam.
Graveside services for Mrs. Jennie Patrick will be at 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 14th, 2021 at Highland Park Cemetery in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Ronnie Stinson Sr. will officiate. She will be interred next to, Carl Jones, her husband of 33 years.
There is no visitation scheduled. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in DeLand, FL at Trinity United Methodist Church at a later date.
