Marshall County’s Cade Flatt competed in the prestigious invitation only, Brooks PR Invitational in Seattle, Wa. on Friday. Coming into the meet, Flatt held a personal best time of 1:51.76 in the 800 meters, the fastest time set in Kentucky this season. In Saturday’s race against the top 800 meter runners in the nation, Flatt finished fourth with a new PR of 1:50.25 and sixth fastest time in the nation. Nick Plant of Canfield High School in Ohio won with a time of 1:49.39, also a PR for the incoming senior.
