Betty Deboe, 85

Betty Jean Deboe, 85, of Columbus, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation of Bardwell.

Betty was born on December 22, 1935 in Columbus to the late Clifford Deboe and Juanita Gibson. She was a member of Allen Chapel Methodist Church and had a deep love for her family.

She is survived by two sisters, Linda Thomas and husband, Larry, of Columbus, Anita Hurt of Columbus; one brother, James Moore of Columbus, along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mozella Lofton, Brenda Deboe; six brothers, Earsie Deboe, Jerome Deboe, Charles Hurt, Billy Ray Hurt, Michael Rhoades, Garland Johnson, and her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Rev. Anthony Johnson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Columbus Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
