Dena Guess, age 82, of Kuttawa passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at Rivers Bend Retirement Center. She was a retired sales clerk and a member of Suwanee Furnace Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Cindy (Rick) Hardin, Germantown, TN; Kathy Gresham, Kuttawa, KY; Rebecca (Butch) Lofton, Lakeland, FL; two sisters, Ann Sutton, Eddyville, KY and Hedy Campbell, St. Charles, IL; one brother, Junior Daughtery, Addison, IL; five grandchildren, Richard Hardin, Josh Hardin, Austin Gresham, Zachary Cresham, Summer Lofton; four great grandchildren, Jett Hardin, Alexander Gresham, Ace Hardin, Luka Gresham and several nieces and nephews.
Dena was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lynn Guess; her parents, Claude and Dora Brasher Daughtrey; four sisters, Opal Hester, Imogene Peek, Jewell Campbell, Ruth Cannon; one brother, Floyd Allie Daughtrey; one son-in-law, Joel Gresham, one grandson, Christopher Lofton and one granddaughter, Hannah Lofton.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville, KY. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Jeremy Short officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery.
