Mr. George G. Nowack, 76 of Gilbertsville, KY, formerly of Glendale Heights, IL went home to be with his Lord on Monday, November 30, 2020, at Mercy Health – Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Otto Charles Nowack, II and the late Dolores (Braun) Nowack. He also cherished the memory of his late wife of 56 years Alice Faye (Ethridge) Nowack, brother Otto Charles Nowack III, brother-in-law, David W. Ethridge, Jr. and sister-in-law Linda Reiter.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Sherry Rosebaum of Oswego, IL., Victoria (Kevin) Nowack-Millender of Round Rock, TX., and Daniel (Malynda) Nowack of GlenEllyn, IL. Loving grandfather to 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Also surviving is his sister Rosalie Worcester of Wheaton, IL. Sister-in-laws Barbara Ethridge of Norfolk, VA, Linda Nowack of Carol Stream, IL, MaryAnn (Jeff) Gingerich of Elgin, IL and Vera (Don) Gleason of North Aurora, IL. Brother-in-law Dennis Reiter of Maple Park, IL.
Due to the current mandate by Governor Beshear effective November 20, 2020, all funeral services, visitations, memorial services, and graveside services are required to be private.
