MADISONVILLE, Ky. (April 26, 2019) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a lane restriction on KY 278/Sandlick Road near the intersection with P’Pool Drive (milepoint 0.335) in Caldwell County from 8:30 a.m. Monday, April 29 through Tuesday, April 30.
The lane restriction is necessary to allow a contractor for the Princeton Water Department to install a pipe. Flag crews will control traffic and steel plates will be placed to allow the lane restriction to be lifted overnight.
Motorists can travel around the work zone via P’Pool Drive, KY 91/Hopkinsville Street and University Drive. Travelers should expect delays and avoid the area if possible. When approaching and traveling through the work zone drivers should slow down and use extra caution.
