Charles Ayden Allen, 92 of Calvert City, Kentucky passed away at 4:15PM Monday, January 7, 2019 at Calvert City Convalescent Center.
He was a member of the Calvert City Church of Christ and he formerly worked for National Carbide and Air Products.
He is survived by his son Charles Randall Allen (Gail Allen) of Burke, VA, and his two daughters; Pamela Jo Allen O’Risky (Mike O’Risky) of Mt. Vernon, IN and Connie Lea Allen Harden (Mike Harden) of Harrodsburg, KY. Three grandchildren; Charles Scott Allen (Theresa Allen), Ben Justin Allen (Alethea Allen), and Bryan Michael O’Risky (Sarah O’Risky). And seven great grandchildren; Charlotte Meghan Allen, Robin Elinor Allen, Camdyn Claire Allen,Austin Barron Allen, Charles Ellis Allen, Joel Michael O’Risky, and Carter Jack Allen.
He was preceded in death by parents Charles Lee Allen and Mary Grace Neighbors Allen, his sister Peggy Jean Allen, and his wife Evelyn Louise Smith Allen of 63 years.
Visitation will be held from 9:00AM until 11:00AM Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Calvert City Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Friday January 11, 2019 at the Calvert City Church of Christ with Lance Cordle officiating. Burial will follow in the Marshall County Memory Gardens. Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
