The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of KY 1949/Wadesboro Road in MARSHALL County on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.
This closure of KY 1949/Wadesboro Road at milepoint 7.13 is to allow deck repairs on the Smith Creek Bridge. This is along KY 1949/Wadesboro Road about 3/10ths of a mile south of the Purchsae Parkway Overpass.
KY 1949/Wadesboro Road will be closed at this site starting at 7:00 a.m., CDT. The roadway is expected to reopen to traffic about about 4:00 p.m., Tuesday.
There will be no marked detour. However, motorists may self-detour via KY 3526/Tom Lane Road, KY 2602/Vanzora Road, and KY 408/Oak Level Road.
