Calvert City mother, son arrested on drug charges

Three Calvert City residents were arrested on drug charges yesterday, after a traffic stop led investigators to their home.

According to Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a motorcycle Wednesday, Sept. 20 on U.S. Highway 62 in Calvert City. Drug unit detectives reportedly assisted with the stop and the resulting investigation led to the arrest of operator Casey Jones of Calvert City.

Detectives continued the investigation at Jones’ residence on Rudd Lane in Calvert City. Jones’ mother, Rebecca Davilman, was arrested at the scene, after detectives allegedly found methamphetamine, several varieties of pills, digital scales and drug paraphernalia at the home. A third woman at the residence, Bonnie Brown, was also at the home and arrested.

Jones was charged on suspicion of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (fewer than 2 grams methamphetamine), first offense; first-degree possession of a controlled substance; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Davilman was charged on suspicion of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (fewer than 2 grams methamphetamine), first offense; first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (fewer than 10 dosage unites of schedule 1 and 2), first offense; second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (fewer than 20 dosage units of schedule 3), first offense; first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), first offense; tampering with physical evidence; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brown was charged on suspicion of first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), first offense; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
