Marshals Baseball scrimmage Muhlenberg, spring sports in full swing next week

DRAFFENVILLE – The Marshall County Baseball season officially gets underway on Monday at Muhlenberg County but before the rain set in this week, the Marshals got in scrimmage against the Muhlenberg Mustangs.

Forecasted rain has cancelled all scheduled Freshman and JV games this weekend. The Marshals first home game is March 24th against Clayton, MO.

They finished the 2015 season 24-11, ending the season in the 1st Region Tournament semi-finals to McCracken County who went on to win the Regional Tournament and lose in the first round of the State Tournament to Highlands.

Five seniors will anchor the team this season, Justice Beal, Brandon Blossom, Cody Clark, Trace Colson and Austin Poe under 5th year Head Coach Mike Johnson.
