Lady Marshals, Marshals conclude youth basketball camps

DRAFFENVILLE – Marshall County’s boys and girls basketball camps wrapped this past week with approximately 90 campers at the girl’s camp and 100 attending the boy’s camp.

The Lady Marshals camp ran from June 3-5, where campers received expert instruction in all phases of the game, developed a TEAM concept, helped to develop each player’s attitude and philosophy of the game of basketball, competitions to apply the learned skills and a fun-filled week.

The Marshals camp ran from June 2-4, with campers learning the fundamentals of basketball, special situations, team play, offensive skill development, defensive drills and concluding with competitions of the skills learned.
