Ky. Lake CVB and Ky. Lake Chamber of Commerce kick off “Restaurant Month”

The Kentucky Lake Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Kentucky Lake / Marshall County Tourism, is excited to release a new contest aimed at helping our local restaurants that are entering a tough next few weeks.
As a way to incentivize our community eating local, the month of December will be designated as “Restaurant Month” where we incentivize eating at local establishments. Every week in December, we will do a drawing for multiple $50 gift cards to local businesses.
To be entered into the drawing, the only requirements are to purchase a meal from a local restaurant, share a photo on Facebook tagging the Chamber and Tourism Office in the photo, and using the hashtag #eatkylake. This will let us know of your post and we’ll enter your name into a drawing.
We have a whole list of local restaurants in our county, but don’t forget about some of our “chain restaurants” that are owned and operated by local individuals. Our local Dairy Queen, Taco Johns, Subway, and McDonalds have been huge supporters of our Chamber for many years and have always wanted to see our community do well. All of these places are employing members of our community, and the most important thing is that we keep our dollars here in our Kentucky Lake Community.
We look forward to seeing everyone “Eat Local”! Below is a list of restaurants in our community that can use your support. Please tag anyone that we might miss. Thank you for your support!
