CFS falls in five-set battle to Graves County

Christian Fellowship lost to Graves County in the First Region semi-finals Wednesday in five hard-fought sets bringing a great season for the Lady Eagles to an end. Graves County (27-10) will meet McCracken County (31-8)  in tonight’s title game.

The first set went to Graves County 25-13 and CFS took the next two 25-21 and 25-19. Set four went to Graves County 25-21 to tie and they went on to take the fifth set 15-12 for the win.

Abigail Cima led CFS in kills with 20 followed by Maggie Wagner with 13. Cima led in digs with 29 along with Emma Fletcher with 14 and Emma Alexander had 39 assists.
