Marshall girls compete in Racer Relays

Emma Smith, pictured at Invitational of the South on March 23, placed seventh in the 1600 meters on Saturday at the Racer Relays.

A few members of the girl’s track team wrapped up their Spring Break by competing in Saturday’s Racer Relays at Murray State University. Five top five results were recorded by the team starting with a first place finish for the 4 x 400 relay, Presleigh Jennings placed second in high jump, two fourth place finishes came from the 4 x 200 relay team and Carmen Gunn in the 800 meters and Tori Ford placed fifth in the 200 meters.
