The Overall All-Area 1 teams and Class A, AA, AAA and Middle School teams were announced based on criteria using a combination of State meet results, Regional meet results, MileSplit Virtual Meet (seasons best and average) and MileSplit Compare Athlete functions.
Marshall County placed five on the overall All-Area 1 teams. Alexia Minter and Mason Cosner both earned First Team honors and Second Team selections went to Christian Cosner, Samual Lanham and Ethan McCarty. Minter, Lanham and McCarty were also selected to the overall Middle School All-Area 1 First Team with Lanham receiving All-Area 1 Middle School Runner of the Year.
All-Area 1 Class AAA First Team selections went to Minter, Mason Cosner and Christian Cosner. Making the All-Area 1 Class AAA Second Team – Gabbi Lovett, Ethan Dowell, Lanham and McCarty.
Christian Fellowship runners Anya McCombs and Jordan Haley earned All-Area 1 Class A Second Team selections.
