Nacho Momma’s opens with Chamber ribbon-cutting ceremony

There is a new donut shop and bakery in town, so what better time than June 2, National Donut Day, to hold a grand opening and ribbon cutting?

The Kentucky Lake Chamber of Commerce in Marshall County conducted a ribbon cutting for Nacho Momma’s Donuts & Bakery, a new chamber member and a brand new business in Calvert City.

At Nacho Momma’s customers will find not only the traditional glazed, cake, iced and jelly filled donuts, but they also have specialty bakery items like apple fritters, cinnamon rolls and muffins. In addition to the pastry items, they also have cookies, cupcakes and even pigs in a blanket. Specialty drink options such as coffee, iced coffee, cappuccino or frappe, are also available.

The new bakery is located at 830 East 5th Avenue in the former Smokie’s Restaurant building and is open 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Saturday. For more information, call 270-909-1108 to see what is in stock, place orders for the office or a special event. Staff also provide custom cakes and other items.
