Data Breach at Ky. Fish & Wildlife

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) – The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources says there has been a data breach at the organization, and some of its customers’ information was illegally accessed.

Officials say the compromised data includes customers’ names, addresses, birthdays, partial social security numbers, and phone and email addresses. they say no credit card numbers, usernames, passwords or licensing information were obtained.

The department says it has fixed the vulnerability, and it is working with the Commonwealth Office of Technology to prevent any further unauthorized access.
