State testing results indicate Marshall County schools rank in 98th percentile

MARSHALL COUNTY – The Marshall County School District is pleased to report that we continue to remain a Distinguished District in accordance with the statewide testing accountability system. All schools performed at either Proficient or Distinguished levels and we continue to rank among the top school systems in the state of Kentucky.

We are proud of the success of our students and teachers and the support of our parents and community.

Below are the rankings and titles that the Marshall County School District and each school earned through the statewide accountability system for the 2014-15 school year. In order to be classified as Distinguished, schools must be at or above the 90th percentile. A School of Distinction reward is given to schools that rank at or above the 95th percentile and met all goals. A High Performing School Award recognizes schools that scored above the 90th percentile and met all goals.
