LISLE, Il. – The 2015 USATF Hershey Youth Outdoor Championships were held at Benedictine University June 30-July 5.
Marshall County track and field athlete, Keagin Brooks, placed second in the 13-14 age group in the Javelin with a throw of 116′.
Madison Brooks took 8th in the 11-12 age group in the discus with a throw of 38’6″.
This is one of three national championship meets in track and field. Almost every state from the lower 48 had athletes competing at the Hershey Youth Outdoor Championships.
Keagin earned four middle school Area 1 first team track and field selections this past season in 300 meter hurdles, pole vault, shot put and javelin.
