dreammaker classic 5-9-15DRAFFENVILLE – Marshall County Baseball will host the 10th Dreammaker Classic on Saturday. The annual event is an opportunity for the MCHS Baseball team to give back to the community by volunteering their talents on and off the field.

All proceeds from the gate and concession will go to this year’s designated charity, the H.O.P.E. Clinic in Benton. Over the past nine years of this event, the Dreammaker Classic has raised $10, 175 for various charities.

The teams from Caldwell County, Graves County and Ballard Memorial have participated in the Classic all ten years, dedicated to supported these worthy charities.

“We are very excited to host this event each year. We are fortunate to have the Marshall County Dugout Club help us sponsor this event and raise funds for the H.O.P.E. Clinic”, Marshall County Baseball said. “This gives our players the opportunity to provide monetary help for a charity while also allowing them to see the importance of community service. We are very fortunate to have several coaches in the area to continue to commit to play to help our event. We think that shows that it’s not only a community event but hopefully can continue to grow regionally.”

The event has turned into a great day of baseball and fun and they hope to have a big crowd to see some great baseball teams and raise money for the H.O.P.E. Clinic.
