Blake Johnson signs letter of intent to play baseball at Shawnee Community College

DRAFFENVILLE – Blake Johnson committed to play baseball at Shawnee Community College by signing his letter of intent on Wednesday at Marshall County High School.

“Blake has had an outstanding senior year” Head Coach Mike Johnson said. “He is hitting .442 and has been an anchor to our defense at short stop. He will have a chance to go in and immediately help Shawnee at short stop and at the plate.”

“I am excited about getting the chance to play baseball at Shawnee”, Blake said. “SCC is a great school with a solid baseball team.”

Shawnee Community College, located in Ullin, IL, is a member of the NJCAA.
Blake is considering a major in the medical field.

Several members of Blake’s family were on hand at his signing.
