Born August 27, 1958 in Benton, KY, she was the daughter of the late Gene Wilburn Tarkington and Elizabeth Inez (Darnell) Tarkington. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church and worked in Human Resources for J.A. King Company.
She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Tarkington of Benton, KY; sons, Bryan Cutsinger wife Kayla of Benton, KY, Brandon Cutsinger wife Kayla of Calvert City, KY, Darren Cutsinger of Perryville, MO, Zach Nelson of Paducah, KY; daughter, Allie Nelson of Tiptonville, TN; sisters, Cathy Burnett husband Dwayne of Paducah, KY; grandchildren, Lathan Cutsinger, Brystol Cutsinger, Liam Cutsinger, Timber Cutsinger, Malea Cutsinger, Leland Cutsinger and Addalynn Dean; and aunt, Martha O’Daniel of Calvert City, KY.
She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, James (Jamey) Nelson; and infant sister, Rhonda Kay Tarkington.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Calvert City Cemetery in Calvert City, KY with Rev. Ricky Cunningham officiating.
There will be no public visitation held.
