Jimmy Glenn Knight, 72,

Jimmy Glenn Knight, age 72, of Gilbertsville, KY, died Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at his residence in Gilbertsville, KY. Knight was retired as an iron worker and commercial fisherman and was a member of Iron Workers Local #782, . He was also a member of New Testament Baptist Church, a 27 year member of the Alford-Hardin Masonic Lodge #925 and a member of the Shriners Rizpah Temple Madisonville.

He was the son of the late Robert Knight and the late Vergie (Whitney) Knight. He was also preceded in death by his first wife: Patty Knight, and one sister: Eloise Edwards.

He is survived by his wife: Wilma (McLeod) Knight of Gilbertsville, KY; one daughter: Christy Patton of Smithland, KY; two sons: James Knight of Aurora, KY and Michael Knight of Gilbertsville, KY; two brothers: Bobby and William Knight both of Murray, KY; two sisters: Margie Dixon of Cadiz, KY and Elizabeth Barnes of Benton, KY; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Friday, February 11, 2022. Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 11, 2022, with Rev. Charles LaChance officiating. Interment will be at Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
