A native of Marshall County, Mr. Edwards was a retired pipefitter at B. F. Goodrich in Calvert City and the former owner of Maggie’s Jungle Golf. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Mr. Edwards is survived by his niece, Deborah Smith; great-nephews, Anthony (Rachel) Wallace and Rexton Smith; great-nieces, Nicole Wallace Reesor and Briana Faith Smith; great-great nephew, Cannon Lee Wallace; and his special great-niece, Ariaynne Posey.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Turner) Edwards; parents, Rex and Violet (Buchanan) Edwards; brother, Georgie Gene Edwards; and sister, Hazel Jones.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 31st, 2021 at Marshall County Memory Gardens with the Rev. Jack Kee officiating.
There will be no visitation. Collier Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
